Risk disclosure
Trading is high risk. Trading foreign exchange (forex/FX) and other leveraged financial instruments carries a high level of risk to your capital and may not be suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. You may lose some, all, or more than your initial investment.
SentryQ is software, not advice
SentryQ is an automated trading software tool. It does not provide investment, financial, tax or legal advice, and nothing it produces should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions, your account, and your risk settings.
No guarantee of results
Backtested and simulated performance results have inherent limitations and do not represent actual trading. They are prepared with the benefit of hindsight and cannot account for all market conditions. Past performance and backtested results are not indicative of future results. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
Automated trading risks
- Software, hardware, internet, broker or data-feed failures can prevent or disrupt order execution.
- Market gaps, slippage, spread widening and low-liquidity periods can cause fills materially worse than expected.
- Risk controls (stops, guards, kill-switch) reduce but cannot eliminate risk, and may not execute at the intended price.
- You are responsible for monitoring the software and your account.
Your funds
SentryQ never holds, controls or has custody of your money. Your funds remain with your broker in your own account at all times. SentryQ connects to your account only with your authorisation, solely to place and manage trades you have enabled.
Only risk what you can afford to lose
You should not trade with money you cannot afford to lose. If you do not fully understand the risks, seek independent advice from a licensed financial adviser. If you are in the UK, note that forex/CFD trading is regulated and you should ensure your broker is appropriately authorised.
